This page describes how information is handled in the AlphaPDF Android app. It separates the documents you open or create, technical data stored on the device, and the Google services used for advertising, consent, and purchases.

AlphaPDF is used to read, scan, convert, compress, merge, split, and edit PDFs on the device. Document content is processed mainly locally.
AlphaPDF does not operate a server that receives your PDFs in order to read, scan, convert, compress, or run the tools described in the app.
The app uses the Internet for advertising, consent, and Google Play. That does not mean the content of your PDFs is sent to an AlphaPDF server.

Documents are generally chosen, shared, or saved by you through the system screens. The current version of the app does not request a general permission to browse all storage on the phone.
The free version keeps the main features. It is funded in part by advertising and by quotas. AlphaPDF Pro removes quotas and ads. The free version is not designed to deliberately reduce features or quality in order to push a purchase.
Without AlphaPDF Pro, each of the following tools has its own quota of 10 successful operations per 24-hour window:
Opening and reading a PDF does not use this quota. An operation counts only when a final result is created successfully. Cancelling, an error, or simply opening a file does not use quota. Each tool’s 24-hour window starts with its first successful operation.
The free version may show Google AdMob ads: banners, interstitials according to the app’s rules, and rewarded videos that you choose to start.
Google and its partners may process, for their own purposes, technical information related to advertising. Depending on the situation and your choices, this can include information about the device and the app, the advertising ID, delivery, measurement, and fraud-prevention data, and, if you have consented where that is required, information used for personalization.
AlphaPDF does not control the detail of Google’s processing. Google’s own advertising and privacy information applies to those services.
Where the law requires it, AlphaPDF uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to show the consent form and to let you review those choices. Privacy options can also be opened from the app settings when they are available.
If ad requests are not allowed, banners, interstitials, and the rewarded Pass may be unavailable. Free-version quotas can still apply. You can keep using the app within those limits, or subscribe to AlphaPDF Pro if the offer is available on your Google Play account.
When a tool’s quota reaches zero, the app may offer a rewarded ad for that tool. The Pass starts only after Google actually grants the reward. An interrupted, dismissed, or unrewarded video does not start the Pass.
AlphaPDF Pro is a purchase handled by Google Play. While it is active, it removes per-tool quotas and the app’s ads. The price, duration, and type of offer (for example a one-time purchase or a subscription, if more than one plan is offered) are those shown in the app and on Google Play at the time of purchase.
AlphaPDF does not receive your card details. Google Play handles payment, billing, purchase restoration, and refund requests under its own rules.
The app keeps on the device the technical status needed to know whether Pro is active, and it checks that status with Google Play.
Document content is not sent to an AlphaPDF server for the app’s tools. Third-party services are still involved for other purposes:
Those services have their own policies. Google components already on the device may also be involved in advertising, consent, or billing.
Depending on your situation and applicable law, including the GDPR, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You can change some choices in the app, open advertising privacy options when they are offered, delete files or local history, and uninstall the app. To send a request to the publisher, email dadamine86@gmail.com. A reply may ask for the information reasonably needed to identify you and understand the request. You may also contact the French data protection authority (CNIL).
Processing carried out by Google as controller of its own services can also be raised with Google, through the tools Google provides.
AlphaPDF is intended for people aged 18 or older. Advertising features may also be limited under the applicable consent rules. If you represent a minor and believe the app was used contrary to those rules, contact us.
The app limits Android automatic backup of its data and processes documents on the device first. No technical measure can guarantee the complete absence of risk, file loss, or unwanted access, especially if the device is compromised or if you share a document yourself.
